While staying within the Sphere Las Vegas brand guidelines, I was tasked with creating a logo for Sphere Immersive Sound. Sphere Immersive Sound is "...the world’s largest, fully integrated concert-grade audio system that revolutionizes immersive audio experiences." While using elements from the brand's identity, I created a logo that not only is elevated but also emits the feeling of sound and vibration.
Challenge
When creating the logo, I was challenged to stay within the MSG Sphere brand guidelines for font choices, color palette, and design elements.
What is Sphere Immersive Sound?
"Sphere Immersive Sound  - created in partnership with German audio company Holoplot - uses audio beamforming technology to create planar waves that provide uniform audio across a venue. The Beacon’s installation will be based around five arrays inside the venue, arranged to direct sound throughout four sections—orchestra, loge, lower balcony and upper balcony."
Sphere Immersive Sound debuted at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, with acoustic performances by Phish's Trey Anastasio on August 19 & 20, 2022.
